PT Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) as one of the official service partner Research in Motion, has set a positive price of Blacberry Gemini.

XL will be one of the first operator to bring BlackBerry Gemini to Indonesia, ie, around September 2009. For the price, XL intend to set Gemini range with prices starting Rp 3 - Rp 4 million per unit.

BlackBerry Gemini or officially called the BlackBerry Curve 8520, have a look similar to the Javelin, with body size (109 x 60 x 106 mm) black. However, the Twins do not have the trackball and replace it with an optical trackpad which the touch sensitive on the fingers, and some special keys for the media.

This phone has a processor speed of 512 MHz, 256 MB of memory, and 2 megapixel camera and video recording capabilities and a comprehensive media player.

Video player supports MPEG4, H263, H264, WMV3. While audionya player supports AAC-LC, AAC +, eAAC +, AMR-NB, WMA9 (.wma / .asf), WMA9 PRO / 10 WMA, AAC-LC). Not only that, this phone also provides easy access to email, messaging (IM, SMS, MMS), and social networks like MySpace and Facebook.

Gemini operates in EDGE network / GPRS / GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and supports Bluetooth and WiFi connections. He also provides a memory slot microSD / SDHC up to 32 GB. Rim claim, the phone has a talktime up to 4.5 hours, and standby time up to 17 days.
